Behind the Scenes: The Making of My Wedding Stationery

Step 1: Consultation The journey begins with a consultation. I take the time to understand your vision, preferences, and requirements. Whether you have a clear idea of what you want or need some guidance, I'm here to help. We will discuss themes, colours, venue illustrations, wedding monograms, and any other details that will make your stationery uniquely yours.

Step 2: Design Once I have a clear understanding of your vision, I will get to work. This is where creativity meets precision. I will draw custom illustrations, select the perfect fonts, and choose colours/florals that align with your wedding theme. We ensure every design element reflects your chosen style.

Step 3: Proofing After the initial designs are complete, I will send digital proofs for your review by email. This is your opportunity to provide feedback and request any changes. We offer unlimited amendments to ensure everything is perfect. Your satisfaction is my top priority, and I'm not satisfied until you are, so nothing goes to print until you say so.

Step 4: Production With your final approval, I will move into the production phase. Here’s where the magic happens:

• Printing: I use high-quality printing techniques and materials to ensure vibrant colours and crisp details. All orders are printed onto 300GSM thick textured card, or foamex boards for wedding signs.

• Cutting and Trimming: Precision is key. Each piece is carefully cut and trimmed to the exact specifications.

• Assembly: All of my designs involve hand assembly. From folding gatefold invitations to tying ribbons and pouring wax seals, every step is done with meticulous attention to detail and love.

Step 5: Quality Check Before your stationery leaves my office, it undergoes a thorough quality check to ensure it meets my high standards. No detail is too small; I will make sure each piece is flawless and ready to impress your guests.

Step 6: Packaging and Delivery Once everything passes our quality check, I carefully package your stationery to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. We understand how important this part of your wedding is, and we treat it with the care and respect it deserves. You can choose to have your stationery shipped directly to you or if you are local you can collect it from me.
