I am thrilled to share the exciting news that I won the title of 'Wedding Stationer of the Year 2024' at the prestigious Essex Wedding Awards, held in the beautiful setting of Chelmsford City Racecourse and hosted by Main Event Wedding Shows.
The evening was a fancy affair filled with champagne, canapes, a delicious three-course dinner, and live entertainment, creating a truly memorable atmosphere.
The awards ceremony began after dinner, and an excited buzz filled the room. Each category was announced, and the highly commended and the overall winners took turns visiting the stage to collect their trophy and have their winners photo taken. I shared the table with Hayley, owner of The Little Cake Kitchen, Essex who won the highly commended award for Cake decorator of the year!
Finally the stationery category came up and I felt super nervous! The competition was fantastic and I really did not expect to win! The highly commended award went to Amy at ATW Creations, and I was sure the overall winner would go to one of the other companies, so when I heard the words 'The winner of the stationer of the year award goes to... Finn & Wild!' I was in shock! I think you can see from my face how shocked I was, and SO grateful! Winning is such a delightful surprise and a testament to the dedication and creativity I pour into every piece of wedding stationery.
Look out for the upcoming issue of Absolute Bridal magazine, which will showcase all of the winners and the evening as a whole. It's a proud moment for me, and I can't wait to share this accomplishment with my wonderful clients.
The night was filled with other highlights, including prop photobooths and an immersive 360 video booth, adding an extra layer of fun and excitement to the celebration.
