Welcome to 'Love Stories Unfolded'—a heartwarming collection of real wedding stories where Finn & Wild couples share their stationery journeys. In today's episode I am featuring Elizabeth and Jamie, who got married in 2021.
1. How did you two meet and could you share a favourite memory or a moment from your wedding?
We met through mutual friends, which was nice as we became friends first. We spent a lot of time together and eventually started seeing each other. Shortly after started dating I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and Jamie was super supportive throughout and didn't leave my side (even when I wished he would!) I knew then that I wanted to marry him eventually. Â
2. What inspired your choice of stationery?
We knew we wanted something simple, that would incorporate eucalyptus, which was what I was planning to use throughout the wedding, in my bouquet and the decorations. I had seen some of Topaz's work before from her own wedding and really like the style, which also helped to inspire it as well!Â
3. Describe your experience working with Finn & Wild. How did Topaz help bring your vision to life?
Working with Topaz was great! She pretty much understood my vision straight away and she helped to guide us into getting it exactly right through her own experience. I think we only made a few tiny tweaks and we were ready to go!Â
4. How did your guests react to your wedding stationery?
We got loads of compliments on our wedding stationery, for being simple yet stunning. I have had friends and family ask for Topaz's details since which I have been more than happy to share!Â
5. What advice would you give to other couples currently planning their weddings?
Get the no nonsense wedding organiser! We found a lot of the conventional Planners online had a lot of stuff in there that was not needed or irrelevant to us. I purchased the Finn & Wild one for my friend and it looked so much easier to use!Â
